Senior Account Manager

SUMMARY

Diva has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Account Manager to join our award-winning Creative Agency, the creative agency of choice for some of the world’s best games developers, publishers and entertainment brands. We cover every aspect of the creative process, from strategy through to concept creation and delivery across all channels.

This role is ideal for those with strong organisational, creative and strategic skills wanting to be challenged by working with interesting people who are experts in their fields.

Sitting within the highly talented Client Services team and working closely with the agency's Creative Operations, Creative and Strategic teams this role is critical to facilitating the World Class work that our clients and their consumers have come to expect from Diva. You will be responsible for mentoring and managing an Account Manager and liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth and profitable delivery of multiple global campaigns.

Your detailed awareness of trends and developments in the wider advertising, communications and creative industries will be essential to your success in this role, as will an interest and knowledge of video game releases, industry events and announcements. You will also maintain awareness of the ever-evolving creative landscape (e.g. new platforms and formats), and the technical and creative capabilities of Diva’s studio teams, ensuring that you best match those capabilities with the needs and requirements of your clients.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Management of some of the largest publisher and developer accounts globally.
  • Mentor and inspire direct reports and wider agency departments to enable the delivery of the highest-quality work across large and complex campaigns.
  • Developing some of the biggest and best campaigns from ideation to activation in tandem with other studio talent.
  • Professional development of direct-reports, using emotional intelligence to effectively drive performance and progression.
  • Manage own and direct-reports workload in an effective and balanced way.
  • Be commercially astute and ensure that jobs are accurately scoped and managed to meet profit targets.
  • Ability to forecast client growth in line with the Agency's visions, working collaboratively with the Account Directors and Client Services Director.
  • Producing client reports and financial performance analysis, identifying opportunities and proposing issue resolution.
  • Completion of finance administration, including PO raising, requesting and invoicing for all client accounts (with support of direct-reports, developing their financial acumen).
  • Briefing creative teams and evaluating creative work, ensuring it is on brief and will meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Understanding and sharing knowledge of your clients’ business, positioning Diva as a true partner.
  • Regular communications with clients at a senior level, delivering best-practice client service across owned accounts in order to drive retention and growth - both virtually and in-person.
  • Identifying prospective clients and leading new business activity.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Proven experience working as a Senior Account Manager or relevant position, within a creative environment; using an organised and methodical approach to deliver multiple and simultaneous complex campaigns across several disciplines and territories.
  • Strategic mindset - understanding our clients business and the gaming industry. Ability to understand the reasons behind a brief and inform agency teams on strategic direction.
  • Previous experience in console and mobile gaming is preferable, but not essential.
  • Proven ability to manage teams effectively; ensuring line-reports are progressing professionally and enjoying their role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent G Suite, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
