Diva reveals a new operating hub in Amsterdam, which will co-exist next to the Bristol office. A logical next step for the experienced agency, which now strategically positions itself in Amsterdam to better serve clients across the EU region.

Rick Sloof, PR and Communications Director, will head up the PR and Communications department of Diva and lead the teams from the Amsterdam hub, joined by the new Global Influencer Manager superstar Lucienne van Bokhorst.

Rick Sloof has worked in the entertainment industry for more than twenty years at companies such as Virgin Music, EMI Music, Activision and Gearbox and is now joining Diva to create an even bigger footprint in the EMEA regions. “When I started at Gearbox the choice was quickly made to get Diva Agency onboard for EMEA support, and they have been doing a brilliant job. I needed a press office, but also a strategic and tactical sparring partner who was preferably smarter than me and I found them! Their work has been stellar, but equally important are the people at Diva. Talented, ambitious, smart and pragmatic, so when the chance was there to join that team as PR and Comms Director and work at Diva instead of working with them it was an easy decision.”

Lucienne van Bokhorst, starting May 1st, brings over a decade of expertise in influencer marketing, having developed strategies for renowned brands such as Alienware, Intel, Plaion, and Gearbox Publishing. Outside of work, Luci spends her time imparting her knowledge in influencer management to other professionals in the gaming industry, as well as to aspiring professionals still in school.

"From day one it was clear that Diva shared my vision when it came to working with creators in an authentic, honest and engaging way. Joining DIVA enables me to advance this vision, crafting campaigns that not only resonate with the audience, but also ensures success for both our creators and clients alike."

Suzy Barnes, Diva’s Founder and CEO said, “Clients continue to turn to us to help them navigate the EMEA region and Amsterdam is such a great hub to do business in - it’s a natural second home for like Diva, as the city is so creative, it’s extremely well connected to the rest of the world, and it has a wealth of local talent.

“After building such a great working relationship with Rick and Luci at Gearbox, we knew they would be the perfect partners to spearhead Diva’s EU-based operations.”
